The Botanical Garden:JC Raulston Arboretum
JC Raulston Arboretum is located in Raleigh, North Carolina. It was established in 1976 and covers an area of 10 acres. It is both a botanical garden for ornamental flowers and a arboretum for research. It is managed by North Carolina State University and is open to tourists free of charge.
JC Raulston Arboretum is one of the most cold temperate botanical gardens in the southeast of the United States. It is used as a teaching botanical garden for horticultural students of North Carolina State University. There are 5000 taxa of plants in the botanical garden, including annuals, perennials, lianas, globose plants, shrubs and so on. These plants come from more than 50 countries and regions in the world and live together in a harmonious garden. The plants in the garden are divided into different theme areas, such as rose garden, Japanese garden, nursery room, Asian Valley, rock garden, winter garden, dry garden, mixed flower border, paradise garden, southwest garden, etc. each garden is full of flowers and butterflies.
