Do you know antelope canyons?
Like other narrow canyons,
antelope canyons are soft sandstones formed by millions of years of erosion. The main erosion is storm flood erosion, followed by wind erosion. In the monsoon season, torrential floods often flow into the canyon. Because of the sudden increase of rainfall, the torrential floods flow very fast. In addition, the narrow channel reduces the river channel, so the vertical erosion is relatively larger, forming the corridor at the bottom of the gazelle canyon, as well as the hard, smooth and flowing edge of the canyon wall.
