Do you know Reuben sandwich?
Reuben sandwich is a fried or baked sandwich with two slices of rye bread and salted beef, sauerkraut and Swiss cheese. One theory is that Reuben Kulakofsky, owner of a grocery store in Omaha, Nebraska, invented Rubin sandwiches between 1920 and 1935. His original intention was to feed his weekend poker friends. Another theory is that Arnold Reuben, the restaurant owner in New York City, invented the Rubin sandwich in 1914 as a gift to the movie stars of the time.
