After graduating from University of Illinois, Hiram Torasen followed his passion for glass blowing technology and achieved his ambition in Costa Rica and North Carolina. But as Heller (Hiram Toraason) said, "once you leave Illinois, you will realize why you love it so much." So in 2003, he returned to Peoria with this new art skill. Now, you can find Hiram Toraason in the studio in the north of the old city and make the molten glass into modern art with him. The studio of Hiram Toraason is recruiting apprentices and offering a lot of learning opportunities for beginners.
